The Football Coaches Association of Ireland have today confirmed the line up of presenters at their Winter Conference 2013 taking place at the City West Hotel on 27 Janurary.
The Winter Conference will open at 12.15pm with an official welcome from FCAI Founder Colin Telford.
Follewed at 12.30 with their opening presenter Ronald Joorse. This will be Ronald's second visit to Ireland, in May 2011 Ronald was part of a 4 man coaching team that took part in the Ajax Coaching Weekend at the Johnstown House Hotel. Ronald completely stole the show that weekend and the FCAI is delighted to announce his much awaited return. Ronald is head of Ajax's skills athletics program and is an invaluable member of the Ajax coaching staff.
After lunch the day will continue with the next guest speaker Danny Turley CEO of Performa Sport. www.performasports.com. Performa Sports are an Irish based company who have been blazing the trail in the technology of Football Analysis. Danny will be presenting a new system designed to support grassroots development.
The next guest speaker will be Sander de Goede the Head of Ajax Online Academy. Sander is a very integral part of the coach education partnership between Ajax and the FCAI. The FCAI are delighted to have Sander visiting Ireland for the first time, Sander will be delivering a presentation on The Ajax Online Academy were he will be paying special attention to the Ajax Online Academy Club Training System called 'Learning Tracks'
The main sponsors of the Winter Conference, Balon Sport will launch it's new team wear range, which will be exclusively available to all FCAI members, just before the final presentation. The final presentation will be an exclusive interview with former Celtic Assitant Manager Alan Thompson. Alan will be giving us an insight on the demands of modern day professional football on young developing players and the need for grassroots coaching. Alan has also agreed to answer any questions from the audience.
The Winter Conference is scheduled to end at 7.30pm. The FCAI have confirmed that the presenters will make themselves available throughout the day to speak to any coaches or clubs wishing to get more information about their presentations.
The price to attend the conference is €39 but the FCAI have announced that anyone who is a 12 month FCAI member can attend the Winter Conference for free although everyone's place still needs to be booked online at www.fcai.ie . 12 month members will receive a voucher code to book their places.
